When you use an email link, your own email service sends the message. We receive the address, message, and any details you choose to include. Please do not send passport numbers, payment-card information, or other sensitive documents by email.

Website analytics

The site uses Vercel Web Analytics to measure aggregate visits, page views, referral sources, countries, devices, and inquiry-link clicks. This helps us understand which guides are useful. Vercel processes this technical information as our hosting and analytics provider.

Retention and sharing

Inquiry messages are kept as long as reasonably needed to answer the request, arrange the service, maintain business records, or resolve a dispute. We share information only with service providers needed to operate the site or arrange a requested tour, or when required by law.

Service providers

Vercel provides website hosting, delivery, and aggregate analytics. Your own email provider and ours process messages when you contact us. If you request a tour, limited details may be shared with the guide or venue contact who needs them to arrange that service. These providers act as subprocessors or independent service providers under their own terms and privacy commitments.

Security and international processing

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but ordinary email is not a secure place for passport scans, payment-card numbers, medical records, or other highly sensitive material. Website and email providers may process data in countries outside Japan. Their locations and protections are governed by their published terms and applicable law.

Children

The tours and nightlife material are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children through this website. A parent or guardian who believes a child sent personal information may contact us to request review and deletion.

Your choices

You may ask what inquiry information we hold, request a correction, or request deletion where we are not required to retain it. Email info@tokyoredlights.com with the subject “Privacy request.”
